Dr Kate Swainston

Dr Kate Swainston is the Director of Hollybrook Health Psychology Ltd.

Kate is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Registered Practitioner Health Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Kate has additional therapy training within Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness.

Kate holds an academic post and conducts research into a number of areas of health psychology and behavioural science including living with and beyond cancer, treatment decision-making, suicide and self-harm and the effectiveness of psychological interventions. She has a record of scientific publications and regularly presents research at national and international conferences.

Kate has over a decade of experience working within psychology and behavioural medicine within teaching, research, and practice. She has a special interest in women’s health and helping individuals to cope with long-term illnesses.

Dr Lorelle Dismore

Dr Lorelle Dismore is an Associate at Hollybrook Health Psychology Ltd.

Lorelle is a Chartered Psychologist with the BPS and a Registered Practitioner Health Psychologist with the HCPC. 

She currently works as a Project Manager within the NHS and brings over a decade of research experience to her clinical practice. Lorelle completed her PhD on pain following surgery and has developed specialist expertise in persistent physical symptoms, persistent pain, cancer care, and lifestyle and fitness. She has produced peer-reviewed publications and has been invited to speak at conferences, reflecting her commitment to advancing evidence-based practice in health psychology. 

Lorelle’s work is driven by a passion for supporting behaviour change and integrating psychological science to enhance individuals’ health outcomes.

Miss Natalie Clark

Natalie Clark is an Associate at Hollybrook Health Psychology Ltd.

Natalie has recently completed her Qualification in Health Psychology with the BPS and is registered as a Practitioner Health Psychologist with the HCPC. She is in the process of applying for her PhD.

Natalie currently works as a Project Manager in surgical research within the NHS and brings a growing portfolio of research experience. She has a number of peer-reviewed publications and regularly presents her research at national conferences.

Her research and clinical interests focus on individuals with hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS). Natalie also has experience in delivering and developing pain management interventions in practice, and has an interest in organ donation and transplantation.
